A recent fall wedding took the Ashland Addison Event and Decor team to Bridgeport Art Center’s Skyline Loft. This raw space has amazing architectural details from timber beams to exposed brick and large windows that look north to the Chicago Skyline.
When guests first arrived, tallboys and cafe tables greeted them in the cocktail area graced with unique round glass vases which held floating cinnamon-toned lilies. Votives surrounded wheat grass in small square vases set the mood for the evening.
For the main reception, each table featured a collage of square vases, displaying floating candles, simple wheat grass and trick. The grass and trick added the vibrant green tone needed for the fresh feel, and a cinnamon-toned lily was added to finish the display.
The King Arthur style bridal table featured tall Manzanita trees in a wood box filled with pebbles. The branches were embellished with hanging candles and lily blooms in white and orange. Ashland Addison created a grand display to provide a dramatic earthy elegance for this urban wedding.
